Robby Zar is a Chicago songwriter and musician.

He has played at several locations around Chicago in various incarnations since 1998, including: Empty Bottle, Elbo Room, Navy Pier, Cole’s, Quenchers, Underground Lounge, Big Horse, Silvie’s Lounge, Mars Gallery, Poitin Stil, Buddy Gallery, Cosmicafe, Uncommon Ground, Frankie J’s on Broadway, and more. He has even played in Pittsburgh once, with a laptop, at an art gallery.
